Five weeks later, TMZ reported that he's closed on the house.
It's $30 million, 14,475 square feet, on nearly 1.4 acres inside a gated community on the island. Five bedrooms, ten bathrooms, built in 2021.
There's a movie theater, an open kitchen, a pool and a gym.
Pulling back, it turns out, doesn't mean stopping. TMZ's sources say Perry plans to open a production office on the island and shoot shows there, with his Atlanta studios still running.
Madea may soon be filming in Puerto Rico.
