Yet the suspect in Agnes Wanjiru’s murder still hasn’t been extradited.

And as we speak, our own government has quietly granted UK forces another license to keep operating in BATUK.

​Africans keep complaining the world treats Africa unfairly… while our leaders extend the welcome mat to those who violate our women and walk free.

Since taking office, domestic debt alone has gone up by Sh3 trillion, from Sh4.4 trillion to Sh7.4 trillion.

Ksh 4.3T in less than four years. Borrowing more than Ksh 1T every financial year. The same guy who lied in 2022 that he will not borrow.

Lakini Itumbii likes propaganda so much. Kalonzo was silent for a short time and he has told bloggers to push that they’ve bought him.

WHAT IF

What if Ruto called Uhuru and told him that he wanted to set up a "Vision 2060" steering committee and wanted him to chair it?

After all, you can't appoint someone during a press conference without informing them beforehand—especially someone of Uhuru's stature.

Being the statesman that he is, Uhuru could hardly say no to a request that appears to serve the national interest.

However, knowing Ruto very well, he would be inclined to question whether the initiative was truly about national interests because, with Ruto, it is always about personal interests.

So Uhuru picks up the phone, calls Riggy G, and gives him all the details.

Riggy G pre-empts everything, and this is where the game of chess begins.

If Ruto goes ahead and makes the pronouncement exactly as planned, he reinforces Riggy G's claim that he has moles everywhere in government.

So what does Ruto do?

He changes "Vision 2060" to "Beyond 2030" and does not mention Uhuru's name during the press conference.

Uhuru saves his name from being dragged into the controversy, and Riggy G scores a few points.

Ruto is totally cornered.

Some Chinese stores in Kenya (China Square, Mia Duck, Panda Mart) are selling products labeled only in Mandarin, breaking English/Kiswahili rules.

The concern is legitimate. Nobody should risk using industrial glue as household glue because they can't read the label. Informed choice and safety matter.

But here's the part almost nobody is saying out loud...

What if a huge chunk of those products were never meant for Kenyan customers in the first place?

What if those products are meant Chinese expats, workers, and traders who actually want Mandarin packaging.

Forcing every single niche item to be fully relabeled just for the majority language raises costs that hit everyone, including low-income Kenyan shoppers.

Translation apps are free. Staff exist. And if you can't read it, you simply don't buy it. That's how markets work in my opinion.

So, I'm genuinely asking:
Are we protecting consumers, or just punishing specialized retail that serves a minority community?

Should the law force every product to speak the majority language, even when the actual buyers in that aisle speak a different one?

🚩 A Kenyan couple has landed in the middle of an international financial crime investigation.

Authorities have frozen assets worth more than Sh115 million. Investigators allege the money came from fraudulently obtained US Federal Student Aid.

Court documents claim fraudsters used stolen or fake US Social Security numbers to apply for US student grants and loans.

The money was then allegedly moved through shell companies, remittance services, bank accounts and crypto wallets, including USDT on Binance.

The FBI shared intelligence with Kenyan authorities. The Asset Recovery Agency (ARA) and the DCI obtained court orders to freeze the assets as investigations continue.

Among the frozen assets are cryptocurrency, bank and mobile money accounts, two vehicles and property in Kajiado County.

Michael Machimbo and Glory Kithure reportedly deny any wrongdoing. They say they are legitimate crypto traders. They have challenged the asset freezes in the High Court.

The case is still before the courts. No final determination has been made.

🚨BREAKING: KSh 8.2 billion that could have built schools, equipped hospitals, fixed roads, or supplied life-saving medicine will instead be paid out as penalties and interest by KeNHA.

Not because of a natural disaster. Not because of war. But because bills to contractors and suppliers were not paid on time.

Reports from the Controller of Budget and the Auditor-General show KeNHA incurred about KSh 8.2 billion in interest and late-payment penalties for the financial year ending June 2025.

Every shilling spent on these penalties is a shilling that won't reach a classroom, a hospital, a rural road, or another essential public service.

Ol'kalou residents are now demanding the Statehouse dinner that they were promised on the eve of the Ol'kalou Constituency by-election. The residents are saying that they need to celebrate Kamau Ngotho's victory at the house on the hill to thank Kasongo for the mekos, mattresses, boats, the money and the shoes.

According to the Cabinet Secretary in-charge of insecurity and Rigathi Gachagua affairs Kipchumba Murkomen, the police are on top of their game collecting evidence, and tying up loose ends to unravel what happened in Ol'kalou Constituency, by unmasking the armed goons that caused havoc during the by-election.

Last night, we all watched an exposé by the NTV on exactly what happened in Ol'kalou Constituency on that day. State goons unleashing weapons, harming innocent people and politicians not aligned to the state.

If a media house can do investigative officers' jobs in just 3 days, as the investigative office in the police force is struggling to unravel the mystery, why do we have incompetent agencies led by incompetent people drawing allocation from public coffers.

The exposé by NTV, vindicated Rigathi Gachagua who prior to the attacks in Ol'kalou Constituency, and during the by-election, said that the acts were already planned awaiting execution. Even Kanini Kega's attack which many called stage managed, was part of the exposé as journalists collected live bullets which the police have refused to receive as part of the evidence.

Polycarp Miyogo was a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) serviceman and a Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA). For ten years, he was always allowed to worship on Saturdays,his Sabbath without issue.
