New opinion poll results show that Ruto is likely to receive less than 10% of the vote in several Mt. Kenya counties.π
A survey conducted by Smart Octopus across the Mt. Kenya region indicates that Ruto would receive 5% in Kirinyaga, 6% in Murang'a, 4% in Nyeri, 7% in Embu, 8% in Tharaka Nithi, and 3% in Nyandarua.
The poll was conducted between 17th and 20th July 2026.
