China has reportedly sent a diplomatic proposal to the United States, offering to help end the war with Iran.
According to Reuters, Beijing is prepared to guarantee that Iran will not develop nuclear weapons in the future.
Under the proposed arrangement, China would take custody of Iran’s enriched uranium but would not transfer it to either the United States or Israel.
Meanwhile, Beijing is holding separate diplomatic meetings with Gulf countries to discuss the Iran–US conflict and explore possible ways to de-escalate tensions.
China is increasingly positioning itself as a potential key mediator in efforts to end the war and prevent a wider regional crisis.
