Suba North MP **Millie Odhiambo** has urged ODM members to remain vigilant, warning that the party should not allow financial influence to weaken its independence as Kenya heads toward the **2027 General Election**.

Speaking during a radio interview, Odhiambo said ODM leaders should have honest internal discussions to ensure the party remains united despite what she described as the attraction of UDA's financial resources.

Her remarks come amid ongoing debate over ODM's relationship with the Kenya Kwanza administration following the appointment of several ODM leaders to Cabinet positions.

Meanwhile, Kisumu Senator **Prof. Tom Ojienda** alleged that money was used to mobilize supporters for a recent ODM rally, claiming **MCAs received more than KSh 100,000 each**, while **Members of Parliament were allegedly given KSh 500,000 or more** to facilitate attendance. ODM leaders have denied the allegations, although some local leaders acknowledged that logistical funds were distributed after the event.
