🇳🇬 A video showing a Nigerian pastor appearing to “ascend to heaven” during a church service has once again raised serious questions about religious deception and the things some Christians are encouraged to believe.
The pastor, dressed in white, appears to slowly rise into the air before disappearing through an opening in the church roof, while the congregation continues singing and watching.
The footage reportedly surfaced online in April 2022, when the church itself shared the video and claimed that the pastor had ascended to heaven under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
Sadly, incidents like this can make people question how deeply some Nigerians have been misled by what they were taught in the name of Christianity.
Faith should never require people to abandon reason, question nothing, or accept every extraordinary claim without evidence.
Seek the truth. Question what you are taught. And never be afraid to follow the truth wherever it leads.
