Machakos County Referral Hospital Chief Executive Officer Winfred Nzuki has passed away following a short illness.
Nzuki was remembered as a dedicated public servant whose commitment, leadership and service to the people of Machakos County made a significant impact on the county’s health sector. During her tenure, she served with professionalism, compassion and unwavering dedication to improving the quality of healthcare services at the premier health facility.
Her passing is a great loss to the country, the County Government of Machakos, the Department of Health, her colleagues, friends, and most importantly, her family and loved ones.
In a statement, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti extended her heartfelt condolences to Nzuki’s family, praying that God grants them strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time.
“We pray that the Almighty God rests her soul in eternal peace and gives her family the grace to bear this painful loss,” Ndeti said.
