Musalia Mudavadi Signals 2032 Presidential Ambitions
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has announced plans to seek the Kenyan presidency in 2032, while pledging to support President William Ruto’s bid for re-election in the 2027 General Election.
Mudavadi said his immediate political priority is to back Ruto’s 2027 campaign before turning his attention to his own presidential ambitions in 2032.
The declaration puts Mudavadi among the senior political figures already positioning themselves for Kenya’s post-2027 political landscape, while his support for Ruto could strengthen the administration’s political coalition ahead of the next election.
