Njuri Ncheke Elders Crown Kindiki as Mt. Kenya Kingpin

On August 7, 2026, the Njuri Ncheke supreme council of Meru elders met with Kindiki at their sacred shrine in Nchiru, Meru County, formally endorsing him as the Mt. Kenya kingpin and declaring it Mt. Kenya West’s turn to back their son.

Crowds filled the roads and grounds, with elders marching in a striking procession captured in videos and photos shared by Kindiki himself.

PNU, Muturi's DP Party Reject Gachagua's DCP Merger Proposal

The Party of National Unity (PNU), Democratic Party (DP) and Democratic Empowerment Party (DEP) have dismissed former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's proposal to dissolve their parties and join the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP), exposing what some say are fresh cracks in efforts to unite Mt Kenya under a single political outfit ahead of the 2027 General Election.

PNU leader Peter Munya, DP leader Justin Muturi and DEP leader Lenny Kivuti instead called on Gachagua to abandon what they termed divisive pronouncements and pursue dialogue, insisting that political alliances should be built through consensus rather than directives.

Munya maintained that Gachagua had no mandate to speak on behalf of all leaders or political parties in the region, stating, "Gachagua has not been appointed or mandated to speak on behalf of all the people or all parties in the Mt Kenya region." #Elections2027

Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku Suggests Joining ODM to Protect Kindiki's Deputy Presidency


Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku has suggested that he and other leaders would be willing to join the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) if doing so would help safeguard Deputy President Kithure Kindiki's position.

Speaking on July 30 in Ontulili, Buuri Constituency, Ruku urged ODM leaders to stop portraying the deputy presidency as a vacant position. He specifically cautioned leaders, including Wycliffe Oparanya, against statements that could undermine Kindiki, insisting that the office rightfully belongs to him.

Ruku also reaffirmed that the Mt. Kenya region remains firmly behind the President William Ruto–Kithure Kindiki ticket ahead of the 2027 General Election. Embu Senatorial candidate WALLACE NJIRU accused of impregnating a 21-year-old lady and dumping her - Had promised to marry her but disappeared after she gave birth

Embu Senatorial aspirant Wallace Njiru has been publicly accused of impregnating a 21-year-old lady, promising to marry her, and later abandoning her.

In a series of social media posts, the woman claimed she was present during the young mother's labor nine years ago.

She alleged that Njiru was actively involved at the time before later disappearing from their lives.

According to her, the politician sent a copy of his national ID and requested that the newborn be given his name.

She further claimed that the birth notification was registered under his name after he acknowledged responsibility for the child.

Recalling the events, she wrote that she was in the labor room at around 4:00 a.m., helping the young mother through childbirth while Njiru communicated with them.

“Where do men get audacity from? Mhesh, it's either we do this the civil way or I come for you today, ”she wrote.

The woman questioned Njiru's suitability to seek public office, accusing him of neglecting parental responsibilities despite promising to marry the then 21-year-old woman and raise their child.

“How will you take care of the people of Embu when you can't provide for a baby girl that you vowed to raise and take care of, only for you to disappear?” she posed.

I've been following this case of Captain Waweru Mwangi a veteran of KQ who once received an honour from the then President Mwai Kibaki.

I took time and listened to his side of the story and also his wife's account both on Tuko.

They've been married for 25 years, all these years the captain is flying all over the world but sending his wife all the dues.

The wife on the other hand who was a teacher left work to manage the family estate they acquired when captain was flying.

The wife went ahead and opened a school which is doing very well, until Captain Waweru started having legal issues with his employer the KQ.

They had kids who are adults and some working outside the country.

The problem with men they don't hide something away from the family, when Waweru started hitting rock bottom he came to realise he has nothing under his name.

According to him he has nothing, his children whom he schooled upto university abroad had turned against him, he has court cases courtesy of his wife.

During Riggy G’s Embu tour over the weekend, Newton Karis revealed that CS Ruku’s wife is actually a Kikuyu.

So Ruku wants us to hate Kikuyus, yet he has Married in Kikuyuland.

Why didn’t he marry in Embu or Meru if he hates Kikuyus as much as he claims?
