Rigathi Gachagua says Mt Kenya region will field a presidential candidate in the 2027 General Election.
He says that even if the courts bar him from running, he has younger leaders around him who can carry the region's presidential bid.
Gachagua also claims that people close to President William Ruto are urging the president to interfere with the court process involving his case so that he can be barred from contesting the presidency.
