The Kenya Women Senators Association (KEWOSA) has called for urgent investigations and action following reports that 36 school-going girls in Bungoma County were impregnated, raising concerns over sexual violence, child protection and disruption of girlsβ education.
The senators said the reported cases in Webuye and other parts of Bungoma require a coordinated response from investigators, education officials, schools, parents and community structures to identify those responsible and protect the affected children.
