Ruto Appoints Charles Owino as New Govt Spokesperson, Sossion to TSC Board
President William Ruto has announced fresh appointments and nominations in the Executive, naming a new Government Spokesperson while forwarding nominees to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), and other state bodies.
In changes announced on Tuesday, July 21, former police spokesperson Charles Owino Wahong'o was redeployed from the Ministry of ICT and appointed as the new Government Spokesperson.
President Ruto also nominated seven individuals to serve on the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC), subject to ratification by the National and County Government Coordinating Summit.
Among the nominees is Mary Nanjala Kilobi (spouse to COTU SG Francis Atwoli), who will represent Nairobi County.
The others are Wilson Kuria Thuita (Murang'a), Silvya C. Apaa (Busia), Ahmed Kanyara Bishar (Wajir), Pascalyne Ntang'enoi Kimiriri (Laikipia), Ken Riaga (Migori), and Evalyn Chepkirui Aruasa (Nakuru).
