Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku has demanded KSh13 billion from Tata Chemicals as a condition for the reopening of the Magadi Soda Ash plant.
The governor says the payment is necessary to address outstanding obligations and ensure local communities benefit from the plantβs return to full operations.
