Burkina Faso has recently acquired the advanced Sky Dragon 30 air defense system from China to bolster its military capabilities.
The Sky Dragon 30, developed by Norinco, can target aircraft, drones, and cruise missiles at distances up to 30 kilometers and altitudes up to 18 kilometers.
Footage showed Burkina Fasoβs president operating the missile system and revealed a mobile air-surveillance radar in use.
Recent years have seen significant deliveries of Chinese military hardware to Burkina Faso, including armored vehicles, rocket launchers, and self-propelled mortars.
