The man seated in front of Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo is Mr. Opiyo, a son of Yokia Village in Mfangano Island.
He was once married to Millie before life took them down different paths, and she later found love with Mabona.
For Opiyo, however, the years that followed were marked by immense pain. He reportedly suffered a severe mental breakdown after battling deep depression, a heartbreaking reminder that while some people move on and rebuild, others silently carry burdens that few ever see. Sometimes the deepest battles are fought behind closed doors, and a little compassion can go a long way.
