Kenyan Psychologist Dr. Victoria Mutiso Shot Dead in Nairobi Ambush

The prominent clinical psychologist and head of research at the Africa Institute of Mental and Brain Health was killed Wednesday morning in Nairobi's Upper Hill near Kenyatta National Hospital.

Gunmen on a motorcycle attacked her Uber taxi after a four-wheel-drive vehicle blocked it, and she died at the scene. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has secured the site, gathered forensic evidence, interviewed witnesses, and is pursuing leads while urging the public to share tips.
