Kenya has secured Sh10.4 billion from the Beginnings Fund to help reduce maternal and newborn deaths.
The funding will support 21 counties and benefit about 6 million women and newborns by 2030.
Beginnings Funds is a joint global initiative funded by big philanthropic donors the likes of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and the UAE government.
