JKUAT today officially opened the 2nd International Conference of Mathematics and Physical Sciences (ICMPS 2026), a two-day scientific forum taking place from 9thβ10th July 2026 at the Innovation and Production Centre (iPIC). The opening ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs), Prof. Robert Kinyua, who underscored the University's commitment to advancing research, innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration for sustainable development.
The two-day conference themed, "Nurturing Mathematical and Applied Sciences: Integrating Science, Data and Innovation for Sustainable Development," the conference has convened researchers, academics, students and industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge, showcase groundbreaking research and strengthen partnerships that drive scientific innovation.
