Mass Moroccan Migrant Surge Overwhelms Spain's Ceuta Enclave
Tens of thousands of Moroccan migrants crossed into Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta over the past day, leading to drownings, border clashes, and military deployment.

Spanish and Moroccan efforts returned about 25,000 to 40,000 within 24 hours, but the sudden influx sparked alarm.

European nations like Italy suspended Schengen free movement with Spain, Denmark called for Spain's full suspension, and France added border controls while expressing solidarity. #Spain #Morocco

Trump on Spain's migrant crisis in Ceuta:

"When I watched what happened in Spain, I said, 'Boy, that's going to be a talking point for the midterms.'

They are invading the country. That is weak law, bad management, very liberal law."

I mean, maybe?? I'm not sure how much Middle America is concerned about Moroccans pouring into Spain.

I'd think they're more concerned about a seemingly endless war in the Middle East, rising prices at the grocery store, AI taking over their jobs.... #Spain #Morocco #Spain

A small town in Spain called Ceuta has a population of 83,000, of which half are male. Half the total population is Muslim. Which means there’s only 4,000 Spanish Christians of fighting age in Ceuta.

Yesterday, 80,000 Moroccans, all military-age men, invaded Ceuta.

This is a full-scale religious conquest. #Spain #Morocco

Authorities have not confirmed many of the figures being shared online, including claims about the total number of arrivals. If verified, the situation could place significant pressure on local security services and humanitarian resources.

Officials are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
